Structural Strengthening with Section Enlargement System
CTech-LLC® Strata™ strengthening system involves placing additional reinforced concrete that is fully bonded to existing structural members in the form of an overlay or a jacket.
The Strata™ system is combination of specialized materials and pressurized formwork for rehabilitation and strengthening of concrete structures. Our system utilizes a highly flowable, non-segregating specialty concrete mixes that fill formwork and encapsulate even the most congested reinforcement zones, allowing for improved bond with the existing structure.
The pressurized formwork enables high-quality concrete pours and guarantees an integrated interface between the new and old concrete. Furthermore, the system incorporates steel reinforcement, mild steel or post-tensioning, to supplement required strength.
